So happy to let everyone know that the launch of my "First Star I See Tonight" Ukrainian Christmas Traditions" at McNally Robinson Booksellers on Dec. 3 was very successful. Over 200 attended. It was a Ukrainian-style launch, with koliadnyky (carollers) [thank you, Melos Ensemble!] and medivnyk [Ukr. honey cake) [thank you, Geoffroy Dextraze, pastry chef!] Thanks to my wonderful son Dobryan for being the MC. And to John Toews of McNally's for organizing the launch.
I also had a launch at Oseredok (Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Centre), with some good discussions. Tomorrow, will be speaking at Holy Family Home.

Thanks to Diane Maione, my editor, and Walter Kulyk (creative direction) and Al Klymochko (graphic design), the graphic designers who created such a beautiful volume. And without my kind and generous sponsors [see panel in photo], I would not have been able to do this.
As a few readers noted, "it is a happy book."
Still time for organizations to order the books for fundraising.
